Cracking Art donates three sculptures to the Villa Russiz Foundation

The artistic group Cracking Art donates three sculptures to the Fondazione Villa Russiz to continue the fairy tale of colors and symbols in the Isontino area. "On the occasion of Nova Gorica and Gorizia European Capital of Culture 2025, thanks to the Venezia Giulia Chamber of Commerce, we have placed various works in different parts of the city of Gorizia, to engage and make protagonists – emphasizes the Cracking Art Group – all the people who came for that special occasion precisely to highlight that culture belongs to everyone and must be accessible without borders." "During our stay in Gorizia – continues the Cracking Art Group – we learned about the wonderful story of love and solidarity that characterizes the activity of the Fondazione Villa Russiz in Capriva del Friuli with the welcoming of children in difficulty at Casa Elvine. A family-like welcome associated with a training proposal that evaluates the specific situation of the hosted minor and their precarious condition. So we decided to donate three colorful animals that by their nature bring joy and make one think. The material used to create the installations, regenerated and regenerable plastic, addresses, for example, the themes of sustainability and the relationship between human beings and technical and technological progress." The artistic group Cracking Art is composed of Italian, Belgian, and French artists and was founded on December 1, 1993, exactly one month after the entry into force of the Maastricht Treaty which established the European Community. And with their works placed in urban contexts, the artists have created more than 500 installations worldwide, promoting themes such as collaboration and inclusivity.
