Fondazione Villa Russiz, as Data Controller, has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) pursuant to articles 37-39 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
DPO's tasks
- Inform and advise the Controller, Processors and employees on the obligations under the GDPR and applicable privacy legislation.
- Monitor compliance with the Regulation and internal policies on personal data protection.
- Provide, where requested, advice on data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) and monitor their performance.
- Cooperate with the supervisory authority (the Italian Data Protection Authority) and act as a point of contact.
- Receive requests from data subjects regarding the exercise of their rights.
