Whistleblowing

Fondazione Villa Russiz, in implementation of Legislative Decree no. 24 of 10 March 2023 (transposing EU Directive 2019/1937), has set up an internal reporting channel enabling employees, collaborators, volunteers, trainees, consultants, suppliers and other persons operating in the work-related context to report, confidentially, violations of national or European Union law that harm the public interest or the integrity of the Foundation.

What can be reported

• Administrative, accounting, civil or criminal offences.
• Violations of Model 231 and the Code of Ethics.
• Conduct contrary to EU regulations on public procurement, financial services, product safety, the environment, public health, data protection and network security.
• Acts or omissions that harm the Union's financial interests or the internal market.

Personal grievances of the reporting person or matters concerning their own individual employment relationship do not fall within the scope of whistleblowing.

Internal reporting channels

• Dedicated e-mail: whistleblowing@villarussiz.it — a confidential mailbox managed exclusively by the person appointed by the Foundation.
• Regular mail: a sealed envelope marked "Confidential — Whistleblowing Report", addressed to Fondazione Villa Russiz, Via Russiz 4/6, 34070 Capriva del Friuli (GO), Italy.
• Direct meeting: upon the reporting person's request, within a reasonable time.

Protections provided

• Confidentiality of the identity of the reporting person, the reported person, and any other person involved.
• Absolute prohibition of retaliatory, discriminatory or otherwise detrimental acts.
• Nullity of any retaliatory acts adopted in violation of the legal safeguards.
• The reporting person's right to contact ANAC (external channel) or to make a public disclosure, in the cases and within the limits set out in Legislative Decree 24/2023.

Data processing

Personal data contained in reports is processed in compliance with the GDPR and Legislative Decree 24/2023, with technical and organisational measures suitable to ensure absolute confidentiality. Reports are retained for the time necessary for their handling and, in any case, no longer than 5 years from the communication of the final outcome to the reporting person.

External ANAC channel

Where the legal requirements are met, the report may also be made directly to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) through the dedicated platform available at www.anticorruzione.it.
